"What is the difference between a religion and a cult?" BBC Radio4/Today
by Chariklo inalert for those in the uk.. bbc radio 4 programme today anounced at 7 am that they are going to include an item on "what is the difference between a religion and a cult.. i don't know which part of the programme, and it doesn't seem to mention it on the programme's website.
but, you can usually pick up replays on iplayer and the programme's podcasts etc..

Greetings! My first post

i have been a lurker here the last few months and have been going through the process of researching both sides of the story of jehovahs witnesses.
i was raised in the borg, got married and now have a young child.. my wife is very much dedicated to the organization and will justify anything the "slave" does putting it off on the borgs imperfection.

Worked like a charm for me...p.s chronic fatigue is a common witness sickness which allows you to leave while getting pats on the back from elders.

Listen to me mate....fake some cronic fatigue and slowly slow down your ministry until 6 months later quiting m.servant duties by request during c.o visit. Feed your wife critical stuff like a bird...small pieces and fake your faithfulness to the slave. in 2 or 3 years she will be a new woman...you will be free and no divorce needed.

by Witness 007 inthe movie in full length is on youtube, it is very violent and contains many sex scenes.....it's filmed in a nice large house which is supposed to be a cult headquarters in the film lol!
at 31 minutes two men talk in the study and in the background the shelves are full of watchtower bound volumes, index, greatest man book and many others....it looks like a bethel library...but 10 minutes before two oral sex scenes took place here!!!!.
just wondering if jehovah's blessing would still be on the house!

Look at all the nik nacks and crap everywhere...no way its just a set...it looks like an older couples retired house...its at least possible. a worldly person with no witness knowlege would not arrange the books in perfect order...

Too many Witness books to be from Ebay.....I think the house looks Californian like Bethsarim.....I think some Witnesses rented out their house for the movie shoot to make big money. very nice looking house...probably an older couple since it looks like my moms library and no modern couple would keep old bound volumes.

Watch. 81 12/15 p.28 "Rutherford believed that intense persecution against the Witnesses might require them to leave Headquarters. Thus he build a building in upstate New York to house the Bethel family." The area was isolated and had it's own food and water supply...great place to wait for Armagedon to be over but.......Nathan Knorr and Fred Franz new this was NUTS so after Rutherford died Knorr gave the talk "Peace can it last?" Saying: "This War {WW 2} is NOT the battle of Jehovah...a careful review tells us a period of peace will follow..." {The only time the Watchtower EVER made a correct prediction yeehaa!} In Feb 1943 the first Gilead Missionaries were trained in the Witness BOMB SHELTER.
